About Your Instructors

The Founders & instructors of the National Golf School Senior Program are the legendary Golf Professionals Patrick Livingston & Jeff Carreira. Pat is the CEO of National Golf Schools and has vast teaching experience and an international following. He is the recipient of the prestigious 1999 PGA "Standard of Excellence" award and the 2002 PGA "Teacher of the Year" award in his chapter of the North Florida Section. Even more remarkable is the fact that he was voted as the 2003 and 2007 "PGA Teacher of the Year" Award for the PGA North Florida Section. There are only 40 PGA Sections in the United States. He is also listed in the Consumers Research Council 2002 Guide to America's Top Instructors. Jeff is the recipient of the 2006 National Golf School Teacher of the Year award and is also a 2006 PGA & NPGIA Award Winning Teaching Professional. Jeff is also author of "The Secrets to a Successful Golf School" the teaching professionals guide on how to start and be successful in the golf school business. Among Pat & Jeff's many accomplishments are appearances on ESPN & Fox Sports, radio talk shows, and published articles in many golfing publications. Pat & Jeff are also the authors of the Award Winning teaching manual for PGA Professionals.

Golf School Itinerary:

Saturday:

• Afternoon registration at hotel, teaching manuals & additional information provided.

Sunday through Tuesday:

• 7:30 to 9:00 am: Breakfast at the hotel, then off to the course.
• 9:30 To 11:30 am: Practice stations with your PGA pro.
• Practice Stations include: Range, Putting, Pitching, Chipping, Bunker, Specialty Shots and more. This program will be tailored to the Senior Golfer to improve your game and make golf easier for you to perform.
• 11:45 to 12:45: Lunch in the clubhouse.
• 1:00 to 1:30: Pre game warm up on the range.
• 1:30 on course Instruction with your PGA Professional. You PGA Professional will be out on the course to play a few holes with each group and make sure you are putting into practice what you learned in the morning session. You may play as long as you wish before its back to the hotel for a great dinner and night's rest.

Wednesday's itinerary:

• 7:30 to 9:00 am: Breakfast at the hotel, then off to the course.
• 9:30 To 11:30 am: Practice stations with your PGA pro.
• Practice Stations include: Range, Putting, Pitching, Chipping, Bunker, Specialty Shots and more. This program will be tailored to the Senior Golfer to improve your game and make golf easier for you to perform.
• 11:45 to 12:45: Lunch in the clubhouse.
• 1:30: Optional 18 Holes included with package

National Golf School Junior Summer Camps

The Junior Summer Camps offer golf instruction throughout the summer months 12 weeks are available from May 30th through August 19th.

The Academy is located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Our Spring Break Golf Camps take place at Palmetto Hall Golf Club, a 36 hole facility designed by Arthur Hills and Robert Cupp with a state-of-the-art practice facility.

Our junior golf summer camps are geared for all ages and skill levels. We cover all aspects of the game. Extensive video analysis is used to help students understand their golf swing and enhance their overall fundamentals.

One of the benefits of the Junior Summer Camp Program is a student/teacher ratio of 4-1 or less.

Summer Camps Details

• Students arrive on Sunday and depart on Friday evening.
• Students can enroll as either residential students (with housing) or as commuter students (while parents vacation on Hilton Head Island).
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided to residential students while lunch will be available to commuter students.
• The program consists of 3 hours of instruction each day, 18 holes of golf, 9 holes of on-course instruction with your professional each day, meals, video analysis, custom club-fitting and take home CD.
• Students enrolled in the Summer Camps will be chaperoned by a Certified Counselor.

Accommodations

The boarding program accommodates residential students participating in the camp programs. The campus consists of five, 4 bedroom 4 1/2 bath houses located in its own gated community. Experience the low country feel and southern charm with beautiful live oaks draped with spanish moss. Students can walk to the beach and to the park, which includes soccer, baseball and basketball. The campus is also a bike ride away from shopping, dining, entertainment and the golf academy. The housekeeping staff regularly maintains the houses. Campers are responsible for making their beds daily and washing their personal clothes, keeping personal items neatly stored and the house orderly. Rooms are inspected daily by the Resident Chaperone.

After golf, students will retreat back to the campus to shower and change before heading out with the activity director to participate in nightly activities. Activities include: Beach, Boating, Movies, Bowling, Miniature Golf, Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Bicycling, Shopping, Restaurants, Fishing and the Firework Show in Shelter Cove.
